The Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship hosts a variety of programs throughout the year, dedicated to spreading the entrepreneurship culture across the Texas A&M campus, community and the state.
Aggie 100
The Aggie 100 identifies, recognizes and celebrates the 100 fastest growing Aggie-owned or Aggie-led businesses in the world. The Aggie 100 not only celebrates their success, it also provides a forum to pass lessons to the next generation of Aggie entrepreneurs.
Conn Family Entrepreneurial Leadership Award
The Conn Entrepreneurial Leadership Award was established by the Conn family to recognize outstanding business leaders who have achieved extraordinary success and is made possible through the generosity of C.W. and Dorothy Conn.
Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans
The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV) offers training in entrepreneurship and small business management to soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines wounded while serving or supporting combat operations in Iraq or Afghanistan.
Entrepreneurship Empowerment in South Africa
Students in this unique and challenging summer program, form consulting teams, and work closely with emerging entrepreneurs based in the townships surrounding Cape Town, South Africa. Over six weeks, students participate in an innovative seminar that introduces them to many of the practical challenges confronting these entrepreneurs.
Ideas Challenge
Each spring, the Ideas Challenge asks students from across campus, "What's your big idea?" We challenge freshmen to doctoral students to dream up the next great product or service and enter their big idea in this campus-wide competition.
MBA Venture Challenge
Formerly the MBA Tech Transfer Challenge, this annual competition challenges students to anaylize early stages of entrepreneurial firms. The results are presented in oral and written form to panels of judges from the business community.
Start-Up 101
Start-Up 101 is a workshop series held for students and community members interested in running their own business one day. The workshop is led by a variety of established entrepreneurs, Texas A&M former students and other business professionals.
